Welcome to Troop 77!

We are a very active, scout-led troop of about 12 scouts. Boys entering 6th through 12th grade, and under the age of 18, are welcome to join (no previous scouting required). The adult leadership are primarily parent volunteers, and are all trained in BSA Youth Protection.

We meet on Tuesdays at the Boulder Elks Youth Activity Building (Scout Hall) next to the swimming pool. Our summer meeting hours are 7:00-9:00pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day (includes swimming). Winter meeting hours are 7:00-8:30pm beginning the first Tuesday after Labor Day.

If you would like to join our troop, please visit one of our meetings (see calendar before attending). For additional information, see the Troop 77 Overview.

Troop 77 was first chartered in Nederland, Colorado in 1939.  It was not active during the World War II years, but has been continuously chartered in Boulder since 1949.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
