Rank Advancement
As scouts join the troop, adult volunteers and senior scouts help new scouts advance in rank. Rank advancement involves demonstrating specific outdoor and leadership skills, including serving in a position of responsibility within the troop. The requirements are detailed in the Boy Scout Handbook. The scout must complete a Personal Growth Agreement and a Board of Review as part of the rank advancement requirements.
